Random Input

Thanksgiving. So much thanks. So much taking from people who are giving. Seriously though. I ate a lot of people giving their food away... mmmmmm. That was an amazing whirlwind of people and chatter, palaver, and drunk talk. The philosophy folder was brought up and we have nathan to thank that it still exists. We have me to thank that it is still being filled with endless empty words that will distract whoever is reading this from work. If that was your goal, mission accomplished. If tour goal was to be spiritually fulfilled I would suggest you read on with low expectations. I remember when we first opened the philosophy folder about eight years ago. It was a special thing with few entries, written poorly about troubling topics. Now we write much gooder. I wonder if the content is the same.
Do we think about and have the same issues we had so many years ago. Do our strategies for dealing with these dilemmas become more sophisticated or do we merely build stronger understanding of the situation without developing a better approach. Is that possible? If you understand something better I think that necessarily you will be able to approach it in a more sophisticated way. Ugh. Anyways.
I think that we are progressing as long as we are happier now than we were so many years ago. I am, so I must be doing something right. Many of us seemed happy and I am glad to see that. Happiness is the only real measure of success, what else could possibly replace it? Congratulations for all of you that are happy, you truly have found the holy grail. If you have been less than happy, perhaps you should drink more, I hear that works... just kidding. Check out Lama Marut on podcast, he is an awesome guru, entertaining and pertinent. Good dharma talks.
Happy holidays nathan, thanks for reading the post
