It is time.
BLE needs some attention. It is a hungry beast and if we don't feed it with speculation and discussion it may die of starvation. Here are my thoughts: People are busy, Bucks Lake is far away from people like Ru, gas prices are rising, I work in Idaho until August 28th, and most of us will be living in the bay area in the fall.
With these considerations I would like to make a proposal.
We hold BLE in a different location at a later date than normal.
I suggest Early september at one of the following locations:
Big Sur (Andrew Molera, Pfeiffer, etcetera)
San Luis Obispo (Pismo Beach, Santa Cruz Island, kati could potential hook us up with kayaks)
Yosemite (stay right outside of it in El Portal and buy a State park pass and go in)
Tell me what you think. I am willing to orchestrate the logistics of this trip if we can make decisions about how it is going to happen.
